About Us

The Dallas Bass Hookers was founded in 1973.  We are the oldest predominantly African American Bass Club in Texas. We are a Non-Profit organization incorporated in Texas. We celebrate 35 years of existence in 2008.

 

 Our Purpose:

1. To meet and discuss the various problems of fishermen.

2. To help the members become more skilled in bass fishing through collaboration.

3. Teach minority youth about the sport of fishing, environmental conservation and safe water practices.

4. To promote and encourage youth fishing and a love for this sport.

5. To make bass fishing more fun through fellowship.

6. To make bass fishing a more productive sport through conservation & sportsmanship.
